AbstractAstheconcernsoftheenergycrisisandglobalwarming,researchershavepaidmuchattentiontoinvestigateanddeveloparenewableenergysource.Solarphotovoltaicsandhydrogenenergyaretwoofthelargestrenewableenergyoptions.However,currentpracticehasfailedtoachievetheexpectedefficiencyandpropertiesforpotentialmaterialsintermsofrenewabledeviceperformanceduetothelackoffundamentalequilibriuminformationontherelatedrenewablematerialssystems.Thephasediagramasthefundamentalstudyisaneffectivetoolforabasicunderstandingofmaterialsprocessing,synthesisandmaterialsproperties.Besides,thermodynamicmodellingofthemulticomponentsystemusingtheCalculationofPhaseDiagrams(CALPHAD)approachisacost-efficientwaytoinvestigatephaseequilibria.Therefore,itiswidelyreceivedtocombineexperimentalworkwiththecalculations.Inthiswork,thekeyexperimentalworksandthermodynamiccalculationareoperatedtoinvestigatethephasediagramsofsomerenewableenergymaterialssystemsincludingS?Sb,Cu?S?Sb,Se?Sn?Te,V?Zr,Ti?V?Zr,Fe?Si?Zrsystems.
