本书为“中国基础研究报告”丛书《功能导向晶态材料的结构设计和可控制备》英文版,基于国家自然科学基金重大研究计划“功能导向晶态材料的结构设计和可控制备”的研究成果写作完成。本重大研究计划以晶态材料为研究对象,以宏观性质(光、电、磁及其复合性能)与微观(电子、分子、聚集态)结构之间内在关系为主线,旨在揭示决定晶态材料宏观性质的功能基元及其在空间的集成方式,发展功能基元理论,深化对晶态材料功能特性和功能基元本质的认识;开展具有重大科学意义和应用前景的功能晶态材料的设计、合成、制备、表征和应用探索研究,为实现晶态材料功能导向的结构设计和可控制备提供新理论、新方法与新材料体系,推动相关学科的发展。
