It has a complete TCM theory and treatment system. Rehabilitation medicine was founded in the 1940s and introduced to China in the 1980s，It has been promoted vigorously in China for the Chinese Ministry of Health clearly put forward the requirement of establishing rehabilitation medicine departments in secondary and above hospitals. With the improvement of modern science and technology，the development of rehabilitation treatment technology is also improving with each passing day.　　This book focuses on the combined treatment techniques in both Chinese and western medicines，and concisely introduces to readers in the field of rehabilitation the TCM treatment techniques (such as acupuncture and moxibustion，Chinese materia medica，tui na），classic rehabilitation techniques (such as physical therapy，exercise therapy，occupational therapy，psychotherapy，rehabilitation nursing，assistive devices），and the combined rehabilitation techniques for common orthopedic diseases in both Chinese and westem medicines. This book includes two parts： the first introduces rehabilitation treatment techniques，and the second focuses on clinical application.
