Liu WeiProfessor Liu Wei, President of Renmin University of China, is also a member of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, the convener of the theoretical economics group of the discipline evaluation group, the chairman of the Teaching Steering Committee of Economics Majors in Colleges and Universities of the Ministry of Education, and the standing member of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, etc. The main academic research fields include: socialist political economy with Chinese characteristics, economic development and economic growth theory, etc. He has published more than 300 academic papers and dozens of academic works. He has won a number of academic awards, mainly including the ¡°Sun Yefang's Economic Works Award 1994 and 1996,¡± the first prize (the 6th and 8th sessions) and the second prize (the 2nd and 3rd sessions) in Economics of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education, and the first prize (the 4th, 7th, 11th and 14th sessions) in Philosophy and Social Sciences Achievements of Beijing, the first prize of the first National Youth Social Sciences Achievements (1995), etc. PARK In-kookPARK In-kook is President of the Chey Institute for Advanced Studies(CIAS). He previously served as Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Republic of Korea to the United Nations (2008-2011) and Deputy Foreign Minister for Policy Planning and International Organizations (2006). He also took on other ambassadorial roles such as President of the Geneva Conference on Disarmament as well as Chairman of the 2nd Committee of the UN General Assembly. As the inaugural President of the Chey Institute, he has devoted himself to establishing the Chey Institute as an international academic exchange platform by carrying out various projects in collaboration with world-leading think tanks and institutions across the world. He also serves as Co-Chair of the Boards of Asia Research Centers at Peking University, Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Vietnam National University, National University of Laos, and National University of Mongolia. He received B.A. and M.A. from Seoul National University. He currently serves as a visiting professor at the Graduate School of International Studies at Korea University.
